Creating a Registry account

Every IPP, VVB, IMD and TO needs an account on the CR-I Registry platform. You sign up with your email, complete KYC and accept the Terms and Conditions; NCCF then reviews the application.

Steps

  1. Go to the Registry sign-up page.
  2. Enter a valid email address and submit it. You receive an invitation by email.
  3. Complete the registration, including the KYC documents for you or your organisation.
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking “I agree to Terms and Conditions”. No signed copy is needed.
  5. NCCF reviews the application. The account is approved once the KYC review is successful.

NCCF may refuse to open an account at its sole discretion, without giving reasons.

Fees

Opening an account costs INR 25,000, and every account pays an annual maintenance fee of INR 15,000. See Fees and when they are paid.

Signing in

Once your account is approved, sign in at registry.nccf.in. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private.

Letting a third party operate your account

You can authorise a third party, such as a consultant, to act on your account. You must:

  • give NCCF at least 30 days’ notice, or provide the details when you open the account
  • share the third party’s details and your signed contract with them
  • state the authorised period (DD/MM/YYYY)
  • tell NCCF immediately if that contract is invoked, suspended or terminated

You remain responsible for everything the third party does on your account.
