Dr. Jagdish Kishwan, Chairman and Chief Coordinator

Internationally acclaimed Climate Change and Forestry Specialist with deep knowledge of practical issues in Wildlife and Agroforestry. He has been a distinguished member of the Indian Forest Service, and has held important assignments including that of the Director General, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), the prestigious forestry research organization of national and international repute and concurrently as Chancellor FRI University, and the Head of Forest Force, Jammu and Kashmir State. He was the Lead Negotiator of the country in the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) on the subjects of Forestry and LULUCF from 2006 to 2014. Over the years, he was involved in varied projects, e.g., securement of elephant corridors, integrated wildlife management plan, and also served as National Coordinator of Asia-Pacific Agroforestry Network (APAN) of FAO.

He has authored/presented more than two dozen papers on various aspects of climate change related to forests and wildlife, forestry, and agroforestry including REDD+ in journals and in national and international workshops, seminars and meetings. He has also co-edited ‘India’s Forests’ published by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. He is also an IRCA Certified Lead Auditor for FSC Certification of Forest Management.

Sanjeev Agarwal, Secretary NCCF

A mechanical engineer with over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, product development and sourcing.Worked as Head of Sourcing with Target’s Sourcing Office in New Delhi for six years before founding GHS in 2010.

Has proven track record of quick scaling up of operations, personal integrity and excellent vendor relationships in the Indian market.

Thorough understanding of all retail formats-specialty stores, dept. stores, Off-price and Discounters. Wide exposure to US and European Buying patterns, pricing strategies, mark-ups and merchandising, Expert at Supply chain management with a proven track record.

Richard Bright, Director

A seasoned IT and digital transformation leader with over 20 years of experience in efficiently managing Information Technology operations.

Prior to joining NCCF, he has served as Director at Teleperformance(D.I.B.S), heading global software service delivery and before that he held leadership
positions with companies like Intelenet Global Services, Serco, Kuoni, Business Travel International and Sita-Western Union. He has a masters degree in computer application, is a certified Prince 2 practitioner, Cisco professional, ITSM, Robotics automation expert and ISO 27001 LA.

Abhishek Kumar Srivastava, Deputy Director

An M. Tech in energy management and has completed IRCA approved EMS lead auditor training course (Based on ISO 14001) and QMS internal auditor course (Based on ISO 9001). He is also BEE certified energy auditor and on the panel for a few Grant and Funding Support Providers Organisations and auditing agencies.

He has over 14 years of experience in climate change. Starting from project conceptualization, implementation, and successful demonstration and operation in diversified sectors, he also has rich experience in auditing. In NCCF, he is responsible for the overall operation of Carbon registry India including national and international collaboration monitoring and evaluation.
