Request for registration
After validation, the VVB submits the request for registration (RfR). NCCF reviews it within 21 working days, excluding VVB response time, and approves, seeks clarification or rejects it.
Submitting
The VVB submits the RfR form with the DPD, SCR and Validation Report on the Registry. NCCF confirms by email with a unique RfR reference number, and the IPP pays the registration fee: INR 50,000 for large-scale projects, INR 20,000 for micro and small-scale projects.
Review
NCCF reviews the request within 21 working days, not counting the VVB’s response time. The outcome is one of:
- Approved. The project moves to the list of registered projects. The Governing Council gives final approval to registration requests.
- Rejected because the project does not qualify.
- Clarification needed. NCCF sends comments to the VVB, copying the IPP, with a deadline set case by case.
Responding to clarifications
- The VVB may respond once.
- The VVB may ask for one phone or web consultation within 3 working days of receiving the comments. NCCF schedules it within 3 working days.
- If the issues are resolved, NCCF approves. If not, the request is deemed incomplete and rejected.
The fee is not refunded if the request is rejected.
Withdrawing
The IPP, through the VVB, can withdraw the request before NCCF decides. The fee is not refunded.
