Transferring MCUs
MCUs can be transferred between IPP and TO accounts, whether sold or not. NCCF does not set prices, and tracks every transfer by serial number.
Rules
- Both the transferor and the transferee must hold an IPP or TO account. A buyer without an account must open one first.
- The transferor’s information must be correct and complete, and the transferee must accept the transfer.
- NCCF may reverse a transfer, or cancel MCUs, if it becomes aware of erroneous or fraudulent activity.
- Transfers are disabled while an account is suspended.
- MCUs in the Buffer Pool cannot be transferred or traded.
Trading
The Registry’s trading platform is the channel for IPPs and TOs to trade verified MCUs. NCCF does not set prices: they are set in a free market. Whatever platform is used, NCCF tracks every MCU issued, traded, retired or cancelled.
