Complaints

A complaint is a first documented disagreement with a Registry service, decision, approach or rule that you see as unfair or harmful.

  1. Send the complaint form with supporting documents.
  2. You receive an acknowledgement.
  3. NCCF assigns an investigator with no conflict of interest.
  4. NCCF sends its decision by email.

Appeals

An appeal is a documented disagreement with the decision on a complaint. Send the appeal form, supporting documents and a copy of the original complaint, quoting its reference number. The steps are the same. NCCF’s decision on an appeal is final.

What to include

Your name and organisation, the details (naming any entity or person involved), the complaint reference number for appeals, and contact details. NCCF keeps all details confidential unless you consent in writing or the law requires disclosure.

Other disputes

Matters outside this definition follow NCCF’s dispute resolution procedure (NCCF-STD-DRP-01/2017 or its latest version), handled by a Dispute Resolution Committee. Disputes under the Terms and Conditions go to negotiation and then arbitration.
