For Clean Development Mechanisms (CDM) project seeking conversion of project and retroactive Marketable Carbon Unit (MCU) issuance, Delegate Entity (DE) on behalf of Independent Project Proponent {IPP(s)} shall inform NCCF prior to initiation of registration procedure as per Registration and Issuance Procedure (RIP).
DE shall inform NCCF via sending an email to cri.projects@nccf.in and carbon.registry@nccf.in at least 15 (fifteen) days prior to submission of CDM project for listing as per the Registration and Issuance Procedure (RIP).
The email shall consist of the following information:
- Complete name and reference/registration number of project under CDM
- Date of registration and start date of crediting period
- If applicable, Monitoring Period(s) elapsed under CDM (number and dates in DD.MM.YYYY format)
- If applicable, CERs issued (number, type – tCER/lCER, vintage and serial block)
- If applicable, CERs cancelled
- Status of deregistration application with CDM
- If applicable, in process application(s)/request(s) with CDM other than deregistration.
In addition to baseline scenario established in registered PDD of the project, IPP(s) shall also establish baseline scenario for contribution of project towards SDGs as required under the Registry.
